Rescue or Faith?

The help can look identical. The thought behind it never does.

“‘Work out your own salvation,’ is the demand of Life and Love, for to this end God worketh with you.”

— Science and Health, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 22:11-12

“Check the thought first. Then help, from solid ground.”

Three Questions

  1. 1.Is someone in danger? Tell a trusted adult right now.
  2. 2.If this goes badly, do I feel it all rests on me?
  3. 3.If they never thank me, am I still steady?
