You Are Not the Struggle

It’s okay to struggle. Feeling it doesn’t mean you’re behind — believing it defines you is the only real risk.

“Imperfect mortals grasp the ultimate of spiritual perfection slowly; but to begin aright and to continue the strife of demonstrating the great problem of being, is doing much.”

— Science and Health, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 254:12

“We are all ‘doing much.’ Please don’t let anyone tell you you’re not.”

Three Questions

  1. 1.Am I looking at this honestly, or already telling myself it means something permanent?
  2. 2.Does this reaction get to have the final word?
  3. 3.What would “doing much” look like right now, instead of “arrived”?
